| | DESCRIPTION: | The Regional Natural Park of Sile river stretches in the provinces of Padua, Treviso and Venice. The park protects the river Sile, which is the longest river resurgence of Italy: 70 miles from Casacorba of Vedelago (Treviso) to Portegrandi Quarto d'Altino (Venice), the natural outlet in the lagoon of Venice, before excavation of "cutting Sile.
The area is located between the sources of Casacorba Vedelago (Treviso) and Torreselle of Piombino Dese (Padova).
Since ancient times the mild climate of the area, the navigability of waters, its proximity to the sea, the abundance of water springs and the richness of the surrounding forests (the landscape, as such, however, was not present) to attract Sile people who stop along its banks.
Along its course you can see places of great beauty and you can make walking in nature.
