| | DESCRIPTION: | The exhibition is the result of intense collaboration between the City of San Cipriano Picentino, the State Archives and private collectors, in particular with the private collection "Anna Marra. The pieces are not only cards but archival objects, photographs, pictures, magazines, clothes and jewelry that assume documentary value for reconstructing lifestyles, conditions and aspects of an era.
The terms of the title "Countess and farmers," indicating they are two different worlds, on one hand the workers and peasants who worked hard in the fields and factories, the other women of the wealthy classes whose main occupations are the cure the family and household management. Between these two poles are divided into several aspects of women's lives: work, marriage, family and fashion, in a location that is not intended to be exhaustive but to highlight issues and suggest ideas and research ideas.
